tony: hello miss ng,next year in 6 hope,this is 1 promise which i will try not to break,i will behave well,hand in all my homework,pay attention and i will not give trouble to the class,so how was 6 hope?

1st: Written paper marks is /100 >> must change to /90
--> divide by 100 times 90
2nd: Pract marks is /15 >> must change to /10
--> divide by 15 times 10
Then add the two marks = SA2 SC
Overall marks for SC for the whole 2007 year:
SA1 : 30%
SA2 : 70%
FOR REVISION. Not holiday ok?

ABSENCE MAKES THE HEART GROW FONDER
It's one of those moody days when I don't feel like working or doing anything. I feel so down. Sigh... Perhaps it's one of the occupational hazards being a teacher. What exactly is being a teacher? What do we have to do? I thought that our job is to mould our children for the future. That will include not just the academic side but also the MORAL VALUES. However, it seems that p------ nowadays are only concerned about results! If children cannot perform, they blamed it on teachers. Hmmm... it seems that the job of a teacher is to please them. No matter how much we do, how much hard work we put in, (eg. Putting in extra hours to remediate their children, preparing extra work, marking extra hard) p------ will always find fault with us. I guess it's because we were brought up to criticise and not compliment. That's why we have names like 'Complain King' and 'Complain Queen'. No appreciation and still want to complain. Do you know that sometimes teachers have to report to work when your children are having holiday? Do you understand that our job does not end at 1.30pm? Do you realise that giving one piece of work is equivalent to marking 44 pieces? Sigh. Seriously, I will like to pose this question to all, "How much time do you spend with your child to help him/her with school work?"

Welcome back to school. haha
I know 5 HOPE sure grumble and complain about me because I gave so much homework for the holiday. HOwever, I am not going to feel guilty or pity them because I know that in the end, they are the one (THOSE THAT DO MY WORK SINCERELY AND WITH THE MOST EFFORT) who will benefit. It's just like the medicine you take when you are sick. You always grumble that it's very bitter, but you will get well soon.
Actually I am quite disappointed with the recent tests (EL, MA & SC). Both EL and MA were quite tough. Anyway DONT GIVE UP! I am sure all of you will do well in the exams.
5 COURAGE 2006: Good luck for your PSLE listening comprehension on Friday. Do you remember our class target for LC??? hehe

Dont be sad just because we got 3rd. It is already an achievement to get into the finals. I didn't even expect that as it is my first time doing mtv sengkang too and I have never watch the show before. I'm already very contented and happy with your performance.
If you compare the other 2 p5 classes with ours, ours is the easiest and the simplest. 5 JOY has so many different dances while 5 COURAGE has so many props.
It is not the result but the process of the whole event. We unite and we work as a team. I am very impressed by your enthusiasm and optimism. You know, as teachers, sometimes we feel very dejected because of the pupils and the amount of work. And we will have a down period where we felt like giving up and quit. It is you and your spirit which has brought me back and encouraged me to carry on with teaching. (very touching right? heehee) Even a simple greeting, a smile, or moral support is a form of encouragement for me. Too me, it is a sign that I am doing something right. JIAYOU 5 HOPE.

LET US CELEBRATE THIS MOMENT
Oh my god. Can you believe it??? My class got in! We will be performing next Wednesday during the National Day Celebration. Am I dreaming??? The best part of the dance was the formation of the words 'H,O,M,E' and the heart. It was awesome! Luckily, I decided to change the dance steps for the song 'Home' this morning. keke very last minute right? But it paid off. All the teachers were praising about it. I am so glad that everyone put in their best and co-ordinated so well. It was a fantastic performance.
wahahaha Next week must work harder and rehearse more often. I must also bribe the p6 judges. keke joking~

NEVER UNDERESTIMATE OUR POWER
Scary... all the classes performed so well. I saw 5 Patience, Kindness and Joy, 4 Faith, Kindness and Courage today. StressSSSssSsSssSss... Especially 4 Courage, under Mr Lee, the choreography is fantastic. Luckily for us, they are P4. hahaha

Last day of rehearsal, hmmmz I think my class performed well. They are very enthusiastic about the MTV Seng Kang. They danced at least 10 times today. Same dance steps, same song and they are not tired at all. Really give it to them. Pei fu, Pei fu. To reward them for their hard work, I bought kitkats for them. I will try to upload the video which I took today onto the website asap so everyone can have a look.

Hope to get into the finals. However, it's not for me to decide, we can only do our best. If we dont get in, definitely will be quite sad. Nevermind, just treat it that, the judges dont know how to appreciate us. WAHHAHHAA. The important thing is the time we spent together and our bonding with one another. We will definitely bring back fond memories. :)

Recently, my dark eye rings are getting DARKER! Trying to choreograph a dance for MTV Seng Kang is killing me softly with his song. haha. Fortunately, the pupils learn quite fast and we are coming to the end of it. HURRAY!
